Bread in Switzerland

Switzerland does not actually have a strong bread culture although they do consume a lot of bread.  The Swiss eat some sour dough bread and some “country style” bread and the preference is for plain white bread made of wheat flour and alot of it is centrally made or possibly baked on the premises with a flour mix.  There is an excellent reference site for bread and baking in general in Switzerland called, simply, “Swiss Bread” and it can be found by clicking here.
